LIEBHERR DELIVERS FIRST EIGHT-AXLE LTM 1450-8.1 AT CRANE | Crane Plus : This month, Liebherr delivered the first 450-tonne LTM 1450-8.1 all-terrain crane to Gummersbach, Germany-based crane contractor Ley-Krane GmbH und Co. KG . Liebherr unveiled the eight-axle crane at Bauma last year. The crane is capable of traveling on public roads with a 12-tonne axle load, which includes its full 85-meter telescopic boom, all four supports, 16 size tyres, hoist winch, 16×8 drive, retarder, and Telma eddy current brake. Markus Ley, company owner, took delivery of the new crane at the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen.
