Kobelco restructuring in China moves forward | Crane Plus:



Kobelco has completed most of its restructuring process in China, ending all of its joint ventures moving from seven jointly held operations to three simpler, wholly owned subsidiaries - although the leasing business will have a partner with a 24 percent stake.

Chengdu Kobelco Construction Machinery Financial Leasing will be a machinery leasing operation, with its base in Chengdu.
Kobelco crane manufacturing in China was discontinued in 2016, while Shanghai-based sales and service company Kobelco Cranes (Shanghai) is being liquidated, with its operations merged into Kobelco Construction Machinery (China).
